Swedish company Hybrit  <\/span><span style=\"color: #f5f6f6;\">has succeeded in completely eliminating the use of fossil fuels in steel production, right from the iron ore mining stage. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Hybrit is the product of a collaboration between steelmaker SSAB <span style=\"color: #f3f8f8;\">(<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #f3f8f8;\">RESPONSIBLE FOR 10% OF SWEDEN&#8217;S CARBON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS AND 7% OF FINLAND&#8217;S)<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 15px;\">the <span style=\"color: #f3f8f8;\"> state-owned Vattenfall and the<\/span> mining <span style=\"color: #f3f8f8;\"> company<\/span> LKAB. Hybrit  <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Montserrat, -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 15px; color: #f5f8f8;\">said it was delivering the steel to truck manufacturer Volvo AB on a trial basis ahead of full commercial production in 2026.
