The author of this account was inspired by Jack Sweeney, a young American who published the movements of Elon Musk&#8217;s private jet on Twitter.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"swatch-white\">The anthropologists who authored this study consider the excessive consumption of these billionaires to be problematic, &#8220;not only because it is carbon-intensive, but also because it ultimately undermines the public consensus that could support public policies aimed at reducing emissions and averting climate catastrophe&#8221;.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"swatch-white\">They say it&#8217;s &#8220;an effective strategy to put pressure on the rich&#8221; to publicly expose their behavior on social networks.
