The concentration of methane in the atmosphere has more than doubled since the pre-industrial era.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"swatch-white\">Cattle breeding worldwide for meat and milk production, as well as other livestock, emit the equivalent of 3.1 billion tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every year.
