Switzerland&#8217;s rail network is one of the most extensive in Europe, stretching for some 5,300 kilometers. And since Saturday, Switzerland has held the record for the world&#8217;s longest passenger train. The Rhaetian Railway&#8217;s red train was several hundred meters longer than the previous record holder, set in Belgium in the 1990s, according to a company spokesman.
