it’s hard to imagine what you can’t see  but microplastic pollution has invaded the entire planet. They can be found  from the summit of Mount Everest to the deepest oceans. We now know that we consume these tiny particles through food and water, and that we breathe them in. Microplastics have been shown to harm flora and fauna, but their impact on humans is unknown, although microplastics do damage human cells in the laboratory. It’s high time we found alternatives, and fortunately some companies are doing just that, whether in household appliances or in the materials used to make clothes.
