Ten ways to reduce our dependence on oil: mobility, teleworking, travel…

On March 18, the International Energy Agency (IEA) presented a ten-point plan to reduce our dependence on crude oil. These measures could not only improve our energy sovereignty, but also reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. If it were applied by the advanced economies, which account for half the world’s crude oil demand, we would save the equivalent of the entire Chinese car fleet.

The mission of the Tinyland association is to support those who want to start building their own tiny houses, a movement that is gaining momentum in Europe and originating in the United States. The idea is to reduce the size of the houses to a more responsible but still sufficient surface area. Of the eight builders currently supported by Tinyland on a voluntary basis, half are women.
