Greenpeace France has shared these results with the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), which is empowered to impose sanctions on TotalEnergies for any material contradictions, inaccuracies or omissions revealed by these new estimates of TotalEnergies’ actual impact on the climate.
The company, which is making record profits, is one of the world’s top 20 fossil fuel companies whose joint exploitation of the world’s fossil fuel resources has been directly linked to more than a third of the greenhouse gas emissions of our time.
