The results froma modeling study published in the magazine Nature on Wednesday April 13 show that the climate commitments made at COP26 at the end of last year have the potential to keep warming just below 2°C, provided that all commitments are met on time and in full. The researchers warned, however, that the necessary policies were not in place. The commitments also include those which developing countries believe cannot be met without increased financial and technical support.
