“It’s possible to relax at the beach or take a trip to a European capital while protecting the climate.
This is the message the NGO wants to get across by publishing a travel guide containing 41 ideas for “eco-responsible” destinations. The guide also includes a list of eight golden rules of eco-travel. Flying is at the top of the list of means of transport to be avoided, but there’s also talk of support for the local economy, respect for wildlife or travel outside summer periods to avoid overcrowding the sites.
