The NGO carried out a mystery survey, sending 33 of the organization’s activists to a total of 19 banks, including the two largest Swiss banks, and posing as customers wishing to invest. The aim of the survey was twofold: firstly, to assess the quality of advice on sustainable financial investments, and secondly, to understand whether the sustainable products on offer were really part of a sustainable economy.
