Of course, the reality is that we can’t turn capitalism off like a light bulb. A transition is necessary. Like our transition away from fossil fuels, it must start with the recognition that capitalism doesn’t serve us, and that there is a better way. And like the transition to renewable energies, abandoning capitalism requires investment in the alternatives and infrastructure needed to support them.
