Employers aren’t the only ones who need to change their attitudes to create more climate-responsible workplaces. A recent survey of potential international students revealed that a university’s reputation and commitment to sustainability were more important than its location. According to Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS UK), 60% of students want to know more about sustainability, and 80% want their institution to do more.
In Switzerland, according to a survey by the Federal Office for the Environment, 71% of students feel that their university or college does not go far enough in promoting sustainable development on campus.
