ipcc report

The IPCC is calling on leaders to make immediate “deep cuts” in greenhouse gas emissions, including methane and carbon dioxide. At the very least, we need to achieve net zero emissions, i.e. greenhouse gas emissions offset by carbon elimination strategies. However, carbon elimination, whether natural or technical, is imperfect and, frankly, unfeasible given the climate time bomb we’re facing. The report unambiguously demonstrates the need to embark very quickly on systemic change to address the dramatic consequences of global warming.
