More than 450 scientists addressed the heads of major advertising and PR companies on January 19, calling on them to stop working with their clients who operate in the fossil fuel sector, and to put an end to what they call the spread of misinformation about climate change. They have sent a letter to the heads of the world’s leading PR and advertising agencies, including WPP, Edelman and IPG, as well as to the heads of their clients who advocate sustainability goals, including Unilever, Amazon and Microsoft.
