This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics was shared by 3 scientists: Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi. While Giorgio Parisi is a theoretical physicist, the other two are climate modelers whose work has laid the foundations for our understanding of the influence of carbon dioxide on climate.
