Every year, some 10,000 festivals are organized throughout France. It’s an indispensable form of culture, but also a major environmental footprint. This additional funding will be conditional on compliance with a new sustainable development charter containing ten objectives, including soft mobility, energy consumption, food, waste management, respect for sites, as well as ” mieux vivre ensemble ” (accessibility, equality, diversity) and ” juste rémunération ” for artists.
