Newtopia will support a multitude of formats to “win the cultural battle” according to Cyril Dion. It will support projects for films, fiction, series, documentaries, web formats or even video games, provided that these projects “propose other stories, other representations, other models”. Newtopia aims to follow in the footsteps of films such as James Cameron’s “Avatar”, Denis Villeneuve’s “First Contact” and Adam McKay’s “Don’t Look Up”.
