Fusion nucléaire-Réussie-Première-USA

Tuesday’s announcement by scientists at Livermore National Laboratory in California was greeted with enthusiasm by the public. For decades, scientists have been talking about fusion, the nuclear reaction that makes stars shine, as a future source of abundant energy. This was the first laboratory fusion reaction to actually produce more energy than was needed to trigger it. This could one day revolutionize energy production on Earth.

Admittedly, this would mean energy production without CO2 emissions or radioactive waste, but not everyone in the scientific community is so enthusiastic.
