Carbon prices, carbon markets, offset markets, eco-taxes, subsidies: these levers of action implemented by the various COPs are based on a market economy logic and have many limitations: methodological difficulties, abuses and, of course, the fact that nature is considered as a commodity. “While scientists are calling ever more clearly for the sanctuary of living things, our ecological policies are doing precisely the opposite, putting nature up for auction.”

We need to find ways to save biodiversity. Some countries have attributed personality to nature, without generating significant progress in terms of environmental protection, and sometimes even worsening the situation. What if we invented a tailor-made path for nature based on conservation issues and the empowerment of human actors?
