The project will seek to raise 100 million Swiss francs by 2030 from public and philanthropic funds, with the aim of encouraging traditional private investors to follow suit. According to the UN, the Sustainable Development Goals require an additional investment of $2.5 trillion per year in developing countries, in areas such as healthcare, gender mainstreaming, water security and education.
