Travel is one of the long list of things we consume that have a climatic cost, and that generate guilt for some of us, sometimes bordering on anxiety. But guilt doesn’t often rhyme with constructiveness, so without giving up, why not consider traveling differently, more thoughtfully, more consciously and perhaps more sporadically?


In this article, some ideas for a more “sustainable” tourism: among them the pleasure of discovering or rediscovering one’s own country, choosing operators who care about the environment, traveling less but for longer…
