Levi’s has teamed up with Swedish start-up Renewcell, one of the first companies to industrially shred old clothes before transforming them into new, high-quality yarns. The brand has taken this a step further, replacing parts of the garment usually made of synthetic fibers, such as pockets, seams, labels and polyester interlining, with cotton.
