Sustainability Week Switzerland is an association that empowers students to integrate sustainability into all aspects of higher education institutions. Their aspiration is for students to transform their institutions into models of sustainability for society as a whole. It’s an opportunity for students to propose a project they feel strongly about in relation to sustainable development, and to put it into action. It’s also an opportunity to learn about project management and to organize large-scale events such as conferences and round tables.
The opening evening of Climate Week will feature a lecture and poetry readings by Cyril Dion, the renowned French writer, film-maker, poet and activist. The conference will be followed by a round-table discussion with three students, members of the SDS Committee, who will ask threequestions on the themes of art, the academy and transitional professions.
